Why is this thing called CUE Box?
CUE Box is designed to help prompt you as a parent to know how and when to connect with your child about spiritual issues. By providing daily and weekly CUEs, we are hoping to make faith an integral part of your everyday lives together.

What's the deal with the monthly virtue?
We've set it up this way because we want to make sure that your child is not only learning the Bible stories that we teach every Sunday, but that he or she is learning who God wants us to become. We believe that teaching virtues raises the bar for life application. Every virtue is a reflection of what God is doing in you to change the world around you. So learning virtues is one way of discovering who God has created us to be.

Will this product help teach my kid the Bible?
Absolutely! All of our teachings are based on principles found in the Bible. We focus on virtues that Jesus taught because we believe it helps us not just learn the stories found in the Bible but actually learn how to live out our faith in everyday situations.

What makes this resource different from other similar resources?
To our knowledge no other multi-media resource gives parents and church leaders a way to be on the same page every week as they simultaneously communicate spiritual truth to children. Instead of having church leaders and parents both trying to accomplish the same goal individually, CUE Box helps these two critical influences stay aligned in order to have maximum impact in the life of a child.

How can I use the contents in the box?
All of the pieces in this box are designed to CUE you to make the most of the everyday moments you spend with your child. Here are some of the CUES you will find inside:

CUE #1 – a DVD with one 15-minute video from studio252. Take it with you on the road or let it play while you make dinner. Whenever you watch it, this show is sure to stimulate some interesting dialogue. Afterward, you can play a music video of this month's virtue song and watch your kids dance along.

CUE #2 – Inside CUE Box there are four collectible cards. Each card is connected to a Bible story that demonstrates how the virtue is a reflection of, or a response to, God's character. Ask your kid to share the fun facts they've discovered about each story, and you might even learn something new.

CUE #3 – a mystery widget that will remind you and your kid to put the virtue into action this month.

CUE #4 – Four separate discussion guides that you can download each month. Plan one meal each week when you and your family can be together and have an intentional conversation. These guides will help you learn more about the virtue and about each other.

CUE #5 – Special downloadable note cards, and the ability to write your child a note to be placed in his or her studio252.tv profile. Spend a few minutes in the morning writing your child a note and see how it impacts the rest of the day.

How can I make the most of the online experience?
Studio252.tv will have new content throughout the week, so it's best to create an account and come back often so you can see the latest videos and access the latest ideas. Once your child creates a username and password, they will have their very own user profile where they can store all of their favorite things from around the site. Only your child will have access to their profile, so don't worry—no outside sharing means that this is a safe site for everyone.

How do I know that the Studio252.tv website is safe for my children?
No personal information will be collected from any child accessing the studio252.tv website. The website will ask for a parent e-mail address in order to activate your child's account and will collect credit card information only if you choose to purchase a CUE Box electronically. No user will be able to access another user's account information. No user information will be shared with outside parties. For the peace of mind of every user, this site will be submitted for certification by TRUSTe.

If CUE Box™ is designed for kids and their parents, why should I be involved?
CUE Box is designed to strategically connect what happens at church with what happens at home. Distributing CUE Boxes is one way for you to give parents the tools they need to have spiritual conversations at home.

How can I get my families excited about using CUE Box?
There are many different ways you can get your families excited about CUE Box. Here are a few of our suggestions: -Host a CUE Box launch event. -Host an Orange Sunday at your church where you dive into the Orange Strategy and really explain how your church wants to partner with families. -Show the pilot episode of CUE Box or the bumper videos or BOTH! -Purchase electronic codes for your families for one month to give them all a taste of what CUE Box is all about. -Use the marketing materials to plan something on your own.

What's the difference between a physical CUE Box and an electronic CUE Box?
A physical CUE Box is an actual box that will be put in the hands of your families. It will have a DVD complete with a 15-minute episode from studio252 and a music video for the virtue song, a mystery widget that helps families remember how to apply the virtue in their lives, collectible cards, and a virtue poster with a bedtime story on the back. The collectible cards will come with an access code that can be used to gain access to the studio252.tv website. If a family purchases an electronic box, they will get an access code rather than an actual box. The code will give them access to the website. On the website, they will be able to view electronic versions of the collectible cards and the virtue posters, as well as download them to their computer to use as wallpaper or screen savers. They will have full access to view and download the CUE Box video. The only piece of CUE Box that will be missing from the electronic version is the mystery widget.

What is on the website?
Families will have access to every component of the physical CUE Box except for the mystery widget. Kids will have access to games and video blogs from the CUE Box characters that will actually give them ideas for how they could put the virtue into action. They will also have access to view videos from Sunday morning that retell the Bible story from each week. The website will have new content every week to keep families coming back for more.

What if my families don't have Internet access or allow their kids online?
While we believe the studio252.tv resources are a great addition to CUE Box, there is plenty of content in the physical box to make CUE Box a great resource for families who are not online.

I am going to purchase CUE Boxes to sell at my church. Is there a suggested price? This is completely up to you and your church's needs. The suggested retail price of CUE Box is $11.99 and that number is on the box. Some churches may choose to use CUE Box as a way to raise funds for the church. While other churches sell them for the same price in which they bought them. Another option is to offer CUE Box at a discounted price so the church covers part of the costs and the parents pay a small portion too. It really is up to you!

I don't really want to buy CUE Boxes for my families but I do want them to know about CUE Box. What is the best option for me?
The first step is to take advantage of all of the marketing tools that you have downloaded. These materials will help you let your parents know that CUE Box is a part of your curriculum strategy and fits in with what you teach every Sunday. How does CUE Box fit in with 252 Basics™ curriculum?
For years we have been talking about the importance of partnering with parents. CUE Box is one way to put tools in the hands of your parents to help them build on what you do every Sunday. CUE Box is designed around the same monthly virtue that you will be talking about in 252 Basics. It uses the same Bible stories, memory verses and bottom lines, but it uses mediums that are familiar to parents. By giving them questions to ask at mealtime, stories to read at bedtime, videos to watch during down time together and a website where they can explore and play during the week, we hope that CUE Box will help take 252 Basics directly into the home where it can be applied on a daily basis.

I don't use 252 Basics curriculum. How does CUE Box work for me?
CUE Box is a way to CUE parents on when and how to have spiritual conversations with their kids. We do believe that the purpose of CUE Box is to help align what is happening at church with what happens in the home, so it is most effective when you are a 252 Basics user. However, CUE Box was designed so that it will still work as a stand-alone product for any family who wants to be intentional about participating in the spiritual development of their child.

How often will a new CUE Box be released?
Every month there will be a new virtue as well as a new CUE Box to go along with it.

How often will you update content on the website?
New content will be added to the studio252.tv website on a weekly basis. Can I purchase CUE Box contents separately? Nope.

How does the rewards program work?

What is the target audience for CUE Box?
Because CUE Box is designed to work with the 252 Basics curriculum it was created for an audience of K-5th grade. We believe that it's more challenging to capture the imagination of a 5th grader than a 1st grader, so we always keep this in mind as we design products. But we believe that the end result is something that every elementary kid can enjoy.

I really believe in partnering with parents, but not all of my parents are buying CUE Boxes. How can I get them to understand the importance of spiritual leadership at home?
While we believe in the importance of partnering with parents and getting parents to cooperate with you in teaching their child spiritual truths, we know that every parent comes to your ministry from a different starting point, with different backgrounds, struggles, skills and strengths. Not every parent will parent the same and not every parent will participate with your ministry the same. Getting every family to purchase and participate with CUE Box isn't a realistic or healthy goal. CUE Box is simply one way to provide easy-to-use tools to help some of your parents begin to do something more than they are already doing.
